The International Youth Assembly for Dialogue (IYAD) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization led by youth (under 30). We empower young people through diplomacy, humanitarian service, and meaningful dialogues, fostering leadership and advocacy skills aligned with United Nations principles.
We offer professional, inclusive, and transparent opportunities for young people to learn, lead, and make a significant impact locally and globally through Model UN conferences, dialogue programs, capacity building, and humanitarian outreach.
IYAD exists to serve as a platform which provides young people with training and empowerment to create positive change through their work in global dialogue and humanitarian efforts and sustainable development initiatives. IYAD uses integrity and inclusivity and accountability as its core values to create solutions which match United Nations standards and Sustainable Development Goals and turn discussions into continuous international progress.
The goal is to raise a generation of youth who will become responsible global citizens through their ability to convert discussions into actual humanitarian work while they support sustainable development and work toward creating a fairer and more inclusive and stronger society.

Focus Areas:

IYAD Global Youth Humanitarian Laureate (IYADGYHL) functions as an international award which recognizes youth between 11 and 30 years old for their exceptional humanitarian work, community service efforts, and ethical leadership skills. The award is presented each year on June 13, preferably during major IYAD events such as IYADMUN, an IYAD General Assembly or Summit, or the IYAD World Partners' Summit. The award recognizes young people who make lasting positive changes through their work while IYAD establishes itself as an international platform for youth humanitarian leadership.
To acknowledge and appreciate youth who genuinely help others, thus placing IYAD as a global platform for young humanitarian leadership.
The IYAD Global Youth Humanitarian Laureate exists to recognize leaders who demonstrate both compassionate and ethical leadership and make significant humanitarian contributions to their communities.
Eligibility requirements state that all youth between 11 and 30 years in all countries who either self-nominate or receive nominations from others must demonstrate outstanding humanitarian work, community service activities, and ethical leadership skills.
The award presents recognition to one IYAD Global Youth Humanitarian Laureate and two Humanitarian Merit Distinctions who demonstrate exceptional youth leadership and create significant humanitarian impact.
